It's not surprise that there are good person on Earth. Whether if you are making peace with everyone or you are doing something good for the community, everyone that's doing good should receive great recognition. But, the interesting thing about this one particular story will warm your heart out.
A single, black mother of four by the name of Taj Anwar, in Georgia, started to grow sustainable and inspiring farm-to-table food for helping her community. She stated that she wanted to bring quality and healthy food for her community in helping to feed the less fortunate and/or homeless people. Having her own farmer's market, she also serves a food delivery service. In many different ways, she insist to fight hunger for her community.
In a Huffington Post video, she stated that her purpose of starting the farmer's market was because from her own experience. "There were times that I went without eating so that my children could", Taj Anwar. After constantly struggling to have money to feed her family, she decided to take upon herself to learn agriculture where she them developed her own farm.
Like Taj Anwar, many residents in the state of Georgia doesn't have access to fresh food. In fact, according to The Atlanta-Journal Constitution, nearly 2 million residents in the state of Georgia have little to no access to fresh produce food. With that said, she made sure that residents in her community were able to have access fresh produce with her starting this farmer's market and in addition to the farmer's market, she made sure to make it affordable for everyone's needs.
